Saluting every life with a flower each day! Flowers are soul of the planet, blooming to play music with silent notes. Smile at them as they are sweet hearted!! Only the photographs taken by me are uplinked. I lean heavily to http://www.flowersofindia for flower identification and descriptions. Looking forward to valuable comments and suggestions.

Never showing the heart ...!
Scientific name: Malvaviscus arboreus var. arboreus
Sleeping hibiscus, Ladies teardrop, Turk's cap or Firecracker hibiscus is a shrub from tripical regions of Mexico. It looks like an unopened hibiscus flower. It is a spreading shrub 2-3 m high. Leaves are densely clothed in velvety hairs. Flowers are borne solitary in leaf axils and are of 2-3 inches long. In my childhood i wondered about this plant why it is never opening and i was sad that it is falling off without ever showing the world! This photograph i took on 6th September 2011 in the terrace of my friends' home.. a lot of thanks to him.
