There is pain and struggle beyond the surface ....

Scientific name: Euphorbia milii
Supposed to be the crown of thorn placed on the head of Christ at the time of crucification. The thorn depicts the fall and struggle.. but the flowers represent the hope, which leads the mankind forward. Though native to Madagascar, varieties of this plant with different hues adore the gardens across the world. This was photographed at Brindavan Gardens of Krishnaraja Sagar Dam, Mandya District, Karnataka.
