Scientific name: Plumbago auriculata
Blue plumbago or cape leadwort is an evergreen shrub with whil like semy woody-stems. It is Native to South Africa and grows very fast and reaches to a height of 2 m. The leaves are spirally arranged. The light blue flowers are borne in rounded terminal clusters. The flowers are with long tubes, expanding into five petals. It blooms all along the year. This photograph was taken on 11th September, 2011 at a public park near district court, Mysore.
